On Monday 1st March 2010 the Junior Sea Cadets from Rugby Unit will be visiting Rugby Fire Station to learn about their role as one of the emergency services. The knowledge that the Juniors will gain will count towards one of their red modules. More information on this event from PCI Gareth Head or TI Ana Wileman.
Just a reminder that the cadets will be swimming on Tuesday 23rd February from 17.20 to 18.45, meeting in the reception to the swimming pool.
Cadets that haven’t already qualified, will be assessed for the Sea Cadet Swimming Test and some of the practical parts of the Water Safety Certificate, a qualification that all cadets need before taking part in any afloat activities with the Sea Cadets.
Please remember to bring a T1 – Parents Consent Form as cadets will not be able to take part in the event without one.

The annual presentation evening for Rugby Sea Cadets will be held tonight at the Royal Naval Association Club in Rugby. The presentation evening is a time to look back on 2009 and reward the cadets and adults with a number of trophies, certificates and prizes. We will be joined by the Deputy Mayor, Councillor Don Williams and other guests, to include Mr Bob Bradbrook, the President of the Rugby Dunsmore Rotary Club.
The cadets are looking forward to the presentation and social evening which follows with a disco and buffet.
