Marine Cadets take 1st Place and Top Shot at Shooting Competition

Rugby Sea Cadet Unit hosted the 2009 Warwickshire District .22 Shooting Competition at the Rugby TA Centre on Edward Street on Sunday 6th September. The team, made up of Lance Corporal Ryan Bott and Marine Cadet 2nd Classes Ted Spiby, Christian Nunnally and James Barber shot well, taking First Place in the Overall Team Event for the highest amount of points as a team and the ‘Top Shot’ Award for the cadet scoring the most amount of points in the competition. The Top Shot Trophy was won by Marine Cadet 2nd Class Christian Nunnally with a score of 151 out of a possible score of 200. The team scored 517 out of a possible 800 score with the rest of the district scoring as follows:
1st – Rugby (517 Points)
2nd – Redditch (282 Points)
3rd – Tamworth (189 Points)
3rd – Coventry (189 Points)
5th – Sutton Coldfield (150 Points)
